1. Who we are

BookLists Hub is a service of Nuella Pen and Play Store, run by Nuella Learning Supplies Limited, a company registered in Kenya. In these terms "Nuella", "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the Parent or guardian using the site.

2. Using this website

You may browse the site without an account. Please use it only to look for and buy school books and supplies for yourself and your family, and do not try to disturb it, copy its contents in bulk or reach parts that are not meant for you.

3. Your account

• There is no password. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address or your phone number, or with your Google account where that is offered. Your account is created the first time you sign in, save a Quotation or place an Order.
• Whoever can read your email or your phone can sign in as you, so keep them to yourself.
• Please keep your details correct. You can change them on your profile at any time.
• You may add a Learner only if you are that child's parent or guardian.
• You can delete your account from your profile whenever you wish.

4. Booklists and School Boxes

A School Box is built from the Booklist a Partner School issues for a Grade. We take care to match each list, and we mark a list whose quantities we are still confirming. A school may change its list after we publish it; where that happens we update the School Box and tell Parents who have ordered it.

5. Prices

Prices are in Kenya shillings and are the prices shown when you place your order. A price may change before you order, never after. If a price is plainly a mistake we will tell you and you may confirm the order at the right price or cancel it for a full refund.

6. Orders and payment

• Your order is accepted when we confirm it to you after your payment arrives.
• You pay by M-Pesa or by card. Payments are handled by Safaricom and by our card payment provider; we do not see or keep your M-Pesa PIN or your card number.
• If an item you ordered turns out to be unavailable we will offer you the nearest match, a later delivery of that item or its price back.

7. Campaigns, Deposits and Balances

During a campaign you may secure an order with a Deposit and pay the Balance within the Payment Window. The percentages, dates and conditions are those shown on the campaign's page when you order. A Deposit whose Balance is not paid within the Payment Window becomes Store Credit and is not refunded in cash.

8. Store Credit

Store Credit is value kept on your account, one credit for every shilling, that you can spend on anything at Nuella. It cannot be exchanged for cash or passed to another person.

9. Delivery

Delivery follows our Shipping policy. The delivery fee for your order is shown before you pay.

11. Your details

How we collect, use and protect what you tell us is set out in our Privacy page, which is part of these terms.

12. What belongs to whom

The name, the design and the wording of this site belong to Nuella. Book covers, publishers' names and brand names belong to their owners and are shown to identify what is for sale. A school's name is shown to identify its Booklist and does not mean the school runs this site.

13. Our responsibility to you

We will supply what you ordered with reasonable care and skill. If we fail, we will put it right as our Returns and refunds page describes. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that neither of us could have expected when you ordered, or for delays caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law of Kenya gives you as a consumer.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the service grows. The terms that apply to an order are those on this page on the day you place it.

15. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If we disagree, please talk to us first; most things are settled with one message.
